namaḥ śrīparamādibuddhāya||
natvādibuddhaṃ tribhavaikanāthaṃ
saṃbodhisattvaṃ sahadharmasaṃgham|
śrīmadguroḥ pādakṛtopadeśāt
sekādikoddeśapadaṃ tanomi||
atha vajrapāṇinirmāṇakāyaḥ sucandro rājā paramādibuddhatantrarāje sekārthaṃ bhagavantaṃ pṛcchati| sucandra āheti he śāstaḥ sekaḥ saptavidha udakādyanujñāvasānaḥ| aparas trividhaḥ
kalaśadiprajñājñānāntaḥ| anuttaras tatheti mahāmudrājñānalakṣaṇam| laukikalokottarasiddhyartham iti laukikasiddhir akaniṣṭhabhuvanaparyantam| lokottaraṃ ca buddhatvaṃ mahāmudrākṣarajñānam|
etadarthaṃ saṃkṣepāt kathayasva me mameti|
śṛṇv ityādi bhagavato vākyam uddeśasamāptiṃ yāvat| param iti mahāmudrākṣarajñānam| nāḍīnāṃ vāmadakṣiṇamadhyamā-

dīnām saṃcāro vāmadakṣiṇamadhyarandhreṣu gamanāgamanam| nāḍisaṃcāram āyāmam iti prāṇāyāmam| uddeśāt te tava kathayāmi||

idānīm uddeśādeḥ prabhedam āha| uddeśas trividhas tantre sarvasmin| tathā nirdeśas trividho bhavet| taduddeśanirdeśayoḥ prabhedam āha| pratyuddeśo mahoddeśa ity uddeśasya prabhedaḥ| pratinirdeśako'para iti mahānirdeśa ākṣiptah| etau ca nirdeśasya prabhedau|

eṣāṃ vyāpāram āha| uddeśa evetyādi| ya evoddeśaḥ sa eva nirdeśaḥ| sa ca tantrasaṃgītir ucyate| atra hi nirdeśaśabdena bṛhattantrasaṃgītir ucyate| bṛhattantrāntrarbhṛtaś coddeśaḥ| sa eva hi saṃgītikārakaiḥ pṛthak kriyate tadānyatantro bhavati| yathā lakṣābhidhānād nirgatam anyatantrābhidhānam| pratyuddeśaś ceti cakārāt

pratiśabdākṣepe pratinirdeśa ucayate| dvayam etad yathākramam alpapañjikā bṛhatpañjika| sā ca padamātrabhañjikā na sarvārthasūcikā|

yataś tīkā sarvārthasūciketi vakṣyate| mahoddeśaś ceti cakrārād mahacchabdākṣepe mahānirdeśa ucyate| dvayam etad yathāsaṃkhyam alpaṭīkā bṛhaṭṭīkā cocyate|

evam ity uktakrameṇa ṣaṭkoṭibhiḥ ṣaḍvidhair alpatantrabṛhattantrasaṃgītyādikaiḥ śuddhaṃ pariśuddham ādibuddhaṃ kālacakrābhidhānakaṃ syād iti vakṣyamāṇena saṃbandhaḥ| evam vajrayogaiś caturvidhair iti mantrasaṃsthānādvayalakṣaṇaiḥ|

catuḥsaṃbodhibhir ity ekakṣaṇābhisaṃbodhibhiḥ pañcākāraviṃśatyākāramāyājālābhisaṃbodhilakṣanaiḥ| skandhai rūpavedanāsaṃjñāsaṃskāravijñānalakṣaṇaiḥ| dhātubhiḥ pṛthivyaptejovāyvākāśadharmadhātulakṣaṇaiḥ| āyatanair viṣayaviṣayibhāvena dvādaśabhiḥ| rūpaśabdagandharasasparśadharmadhātulakṣaṇaiḥ| ṣaṭkulaiś cakṣuḥśrotraghrāṇajihvākāyamanolakṣanaiḥ|
satyābhyāṃ laukikalokottarābhyām| kāyavākcittasaṃśuddhyā abhiṣekadvayaṃ dvayam ity udakamukuṭābhyāṃ kāyaśuddham| paṭṭavajraghaṇṭābhyāṃ vākśuddham| māhavratanāmābhyāṃ cittaśuddham| anujñayā jñānaśuddhiḥ| anyair aparā yā śuddhiḥ sā dhātvādiśuddhitaḥ|

tad āha| udakam ityādi| vajraghaṇṭā mahākṣaram iti vajraṃ mahākṣaraśuddham| ghaṇṭā buddhabhāṣānavacchinnā| saivārkendvekatra tayoḥ śodhanaṃ madhyamāpravāhalakṣaṇaṃ| kumbhādayas tu sekā maṇḍalavartanam antareṇāpi deyāḥ| yataḥ stanāṅgasaṃsparśāt sukhaprāptopalabdhaḥ|

janakaḥ sarvatāyinām iti tāyināṃ pañcatathāgatānāṃ nirāvaraṇatvena janakaḥ| prajñā buddhis tasyā bimbair grāhyagrāhakākārarahitamāyāsvapnābhilāṣalakṣaṇaih|

ata evāha| astināstivyatikrāntair ity abhāva ityādi| iha hy ālambanaṃ dvividham| pratyakṣapūrvakaṃ bhavet| anumānapūrvakaṃ cet| tatra pratyakṣapūrvakaṃ tad vyapagatasakalakalpanākalaṅkaṃ sadgurumārgopadeśajātatattvayogād gaganetārācakravad anekasaṃbhogakāyaṃ māṃsacakṣurgrāhyam| prathamaṃ māṃsacakṣuṣādikarmiyogi viśvam abhijñām antareṇa paśyati|

tato divyacakṣuṣābhijñāvadhivaśāt| tato buddhacakṣuṣā vītarāgāvadhivaśāt| tataḥ prajñācakṣuṣā bodhisattvāvadhivaśāt| tato jñānacakṣuṣā samyaksaṃbuddhāvadhivaśāt| sarvopadhivinirmuktitaḥ| evaṃ tathāgatasya pañcacakṣūṃṣi māṃsādīni śūnyatādarśanaṃ praty uktāni| anumānapūrvakam ālambanārthaṃ tattvataḥ kalpanaṃ citrādopadarśitaṃ bālayogināṃ śūnyatāmārgāvatāranārtham|

tasmād abhāve bimbe svapnādisadṛśe yā bhāvanālambanaṃ sā yogināṃ bhāvanā kalpanā na bhavaty akalitahetūdbhūtatvāt| ata eva bhāvo vasturūpaḥ| abhāvaś ca sarvopākhyāvirahalakṣaṇaḥ| cittasya yataḥ pratibhāsamānam apahnotuṃ na śakyate| aṇusaṃdohā bhāvāś ca na gṛhyate pratibimbavat|

etad eva dṛṣṭāntenācaṣṭe| pratisenām ityādi| pratisenāśabdena paracintitārtho'bhidhīyate| tām ādarśe darpaṇe'vastujāṃ paramāṇusaṃdoharahitaṃ paśyet| pratisenāvatāratantre kiladarpaṇakhaḍgāṅguṣṭhapradīpacandrasūryodakakuṇḍanetreṣv aṣṭasu pratisenāvatāra uktaḥ| tathātītānāgataṃ dharmaṃ paricintitam ambare

śūnye sarvākārabimbe tattvayogī labdhanirvikalpamārgaḥ paśyati|

asyāḥ pratisenāyā dṛśyamānāyā yo bhāvaḥ pratibhāsalakṣaṇaḥ sa na bhāvaḥ syāt tad vastu na bhavati| kuta ity āha| vastuśūnyārthadarśanād iti vastunā paramāṇusaṃdohātmanā śūnyovyapagataḥ| sa ca tasyārthaḥ pratibhāsalakṣaṇaḥ| tasya darśanād nirvikalpapratyakṣopalambhāt| vastuno'ṇusaṃdohātmakasyābhāvato'rthaḥ pratibhāsalakṣaṇe'sti| kathaṃ yathā māyāsvapnendrajālavat|

amum evārtham āha| asatītyādi| cintāmaṇir ivetyādi kalpanāpoḍhatvam abhrāntatvaṃ ca jñānasyāha| nanu yad anālambanaṃ tat kathaṃ jagadarthakāri viṣayeṇa vinotpattir ity āha| adṛṣṭim ityādi| sādhakāḥ pratisenāvatārakāḥ|

sadrūpaṃ paśyatīty api nety āha| asadrūpaṃ paśyatīty api nety āha| yad apītyādi| anyacakṣurbhyāṃ paśyatīty api nety āha| na paśyatītyādi| svacakṣurbhyāṃ tarhi paśyatīty āha| svacakṣurbhyām ityādi| kumāryā yad dṛśyamānam ajātam anutpannaṃ tat tasyā jātakaṃ yathotpannam ity arthaḥ|

prāṇāyāmam āha| dṛṣṭa iti| īdṛśe svapnamāyāsadṛśe bimbe dṛṣṭe sati tatas tadanantaraṃ prāṇāyāmaṃ pūrakakumbhakarecakaṃ nirantaram anavacchinnaṃ kuryāt| kāsv ity āha| ūrdhvetyādi| ūrdhve trināḍī kāyavākcittadharmiṇī| evam adhaś ca|

tatra vāme candranāḍī kāyadharmiṇī| dakṣiṇe'rkanāḍī vāgdharmiṇī| madhye rāhunāḍī cittadharmiṇī| viḍnāḍī kāyadharmiṇī| mutranāḍī vāgdharmiṇī| śukranāḍī cittadharmiṇī| candranāḍī toyasvabhāvā| arkanāḍī vahnisvabhāvā| rāhunāḍī śunyasvabhāvā| viḍnāḍī bhūsvabhāvā| mūtranāḍī vāyusvabhāvā| śukranāḍī jñānasvabhāvā|

etad āha| candretyādi| prāṇe'pāne krameṇa tā iti| prāṇe candrasūryataminyaḥ| apāne cāvaśiṣṭāḥ|

āsāṃ ṣaṭkulakalpanām āha| candretyādi| candras toyadhātur upāyasya śukradhātoḥ kāyo bhavati| prajñāyā rajodhātor divākaras tejodhātur vāg bhavati| evaṃ vakṣyamāṇe'pi prajñopāyayor aparam evārthaḥ| vibhoḥ śukradhātoḥ prajñopāyāṅgabhāveneti viṣamakulāliṅganena| prajñāṅgabhāvo hy upāye bhavati suratakāle cittasya tadākāratvāt| upāyāṅgabhāvaḥ prajñāyām apy evam|

ariṣṭam akālamaraṇalakṣaṇam adhikamārutair bhavati| ūrdhve'dhaś ca kayor ity āha| kāyavāgnāḍyor yathāyogaṃ lalanārasanayoḥ| yadādho viḍnāḍī niruddhā bhavati tadordhve vāmanāḍyām ariṣṭaṃ bhavati| yadā mūtranāḍī niruddhā bhavati todordhve dakṣiṇanāḍyām ariṣṭaṃ bhavati| etac ca prapañcena vakṣyate| taminīśukravāhiṇyoś cāriṣṭaṃ nāsti| taminīśukravāhiṇyor māruta utpattir garbhād nirgamaḥ| maraṇaṃ sthitiḥ svasthitā|

etad āha| utpādetyādi| lagnodayābhisaṃdhau ceti| vāma-

lagnād dakṣiṇalagnasaṃkrāntisaṃdhau madhyamā viṣuvaṃ vahati| kati śvāsocchvāsān ity āha| ṣaṭpañcāśad ityādi|

divāniśam ahorātre dvādaśasaṃkrāntau pañcasaptatyadhikaṣaṭśataśvāsān madhyamā vahati| vāmā dakṣinā ca nāḍī pañcasaptatyadhikaṣaṭśataśvāsonān yān ekaviṃśatisahasrān ṣaṭśatair adhikāṃs tān vahati| tripakṣyadhikatrivarṣāṇi ca śatavarṣe pūrṇe vahati madhyamā|

vāmā savyā dakṣiṇordhve prāṇe yathākrameṇa saṃjñā candro'rkaś ca| lalaneḍā cāpi piṅgalāpareti rasanā| toyatejaḥsvabhāvinyāv iti pūrvavad yathākramaṃ padmadhṛgratnadhṛgmate'mitābharatnasaṃbhavādhidaivate|

adha ity apāne madhyamā nāḍī cetyādinā| viḍmūtravāhinyor upary ūrdhvanāḍīdvayasaṃcāreṇa svabhāvam āha| ayam arthaḥ| ūrdhve yā vāmanāḍī sādho madhyā viḍnāḍī| ūrdhve yā dakṣiṇā sādho vāmā mūtravāhiṇī| ete dve yathākramaṃ cakradhṛkkhaḍgadhṛgmate| vairocanāmoghasiddhisvabhāve| ūrdhve yā madhyamā

sādhaḥ savyā śukravāhiṇī| ete'pi śūnyajñānasvarūpe| akṣobhyavajrasattvādhidaivate|

nābhyabje bhuvaḥ pañcaguṇo gandharūparasasparśaśabdalakṣaṇaḥ| hṛdayābje toyasya caturguṇo rūparasasparśaśabdalakṣaṇaḥ| kaṇṭhābje'gnes triguṇo rūpasparśaśabdalakṣaṇaḥ| lalāṭābje maruto dviguṇaḥ sparśaśabdalakṣaṇaḥ| uṣṇīṣābje śūnyasya śabdamātraguṇaḥ|

etān gṛhītvā saṃhārakrameṇāvadhūtī nirgacchati| sṛṣṭyā ca śūnyādinā ca| kṣitau nābhimaṇḍale viśati|

adho nābhau guhye ca maṇyabje śaṅkhinī kāyavākcittavāhiṇī sattvarajastamobhedena tridvyekaguṇātmikā saṃhārakrameṇa nirgacchati| ṣṛṣṭyā viśati| eṣā śaṅkhinī strīṇāṃ sukhāt surate śukraṃ vahati| ṛtau raja-udbhave raktavāhiṇī|

prāṇāpānanāḍyoḥ prajñopāyāṅgabhāvam āha| ūrdhva ityādi| ūrdhve prāṇe savyāvasavyayor vāmadakṣiṇayoḥ prajñopāyāṅgabhāvo'dho'pāne| ūrdhvādho rajaḥśukrapravāhayoḥ|

yādhaḥ strīṇāṃ khagamukhā śukravāhataḥ saiva yadā rajo vahati tadā caṇḍālī bhavati| tasminn eva cartukāle strīṇām ūrdhvanāḍī ḍombī bhavati| atrobhayathāpi striyo'spṛśyāḥ| puṃsaḥ puruṣasya tv ṛtukāle śukrāgamanakāle saiva ḍomby avadhūtī syāt|

vāmadakṣiṇanāsāpuṭayor maṇḍalodayam āha| vijñānādyam ityādi| vijñānādyam ākāśādyaṃ sṛṣṭikrameṇa| bhūmyādyaṃ saṃhārakrameṇa| madhye madhyamāmārge ṣaṣṭhaṃ jñānamaṇḍalam ākāśādipañcamaṇḍalāt pratyekamaṇḍalasya sapādaikādaśaśvāsān gṛhītvā sapādaṣaṭpañcāśataśvāsātmakaṃ vahati|

āsāṃ vāmadakṣiṇamadhyanāḍīnām ahorātreṇa yathākramaṃ nābhipadme dvādaśadalātmake ṣaṣṭimaṇḍalāni| vāme ca lagne viṣame meṣādye dakṣiṇalagne same vṛṣabhādye|

tatra dakṣiṇe vṛṣalagne yadā vahati vāyus tadā mūle nāsāpuṭasyādhobhāge bhūmimaṇḍalaṃ daṇḍaikaṃ vahati| evaṃ tasyaiva vāmabhāge toyamaṇḍalam| savye dakṣiṇabhāge tejomaṇḍalam| ūrdhvabhāge vāyumaṇḍalam| madhye śūnyamaṇḍalam| evam

ubhayor nāsārandhrayor ekaikamaṇḍalaṃ daṇḍād vahati| pañcabhir daṇḍaiḥ pañcamaṇḍalaṃ vahatīty arthaḥ| bhūmyādyam iti copalakṣaṇamātratvāt| ākāśādyam api gṛhyate|

ekā nāḍī kati śvāsān vahatīty āha| nāḍiketyādi| kramād iti kṣāmādinā| ākāśādināyam| pañcabhir gaṇitā aṣṭādaśaśataśvāsā bhavanti| tāṃś ca pañcanāḍyo vahanti| aṣṭādaśaśataśvāsāṃś ca dvādaśasaṃkrāntibhir gaṇitā ahorātreṇa ṣaṭśatādhikaikaviṃśatisahasraśvāsā bhavanti|

etad āha| ṣaṣṭītyādi| vāmanāḍyāṃ lagnodayam āha| dalamadhya iti yadā vāmanāḍyāṃ meṣādinā nāsāpuṭamadhye śūnyamaṇḍalaṃ vahati tadābhyantare'pi dalamadhye vahatīti vakṣyate| tataḥ pūrva ity ūrdhve vāyumaṇḍalaṃ savye'gnimaṇḍalam| vāme toyamaṇḍalam| apara ity adhobhāge pṛthivīmaṇḍalam| kramād ity ākāśādikramāt| ākāśādyam ityādinā pūrvoktam evaṃ prajñapayati|

pañcamaṇḍalānāṃ parasparaṃ prajñopāyabhedenāha| apara ity adhomaṇḍale| pūrva ity ūrdhvamaṇḍale yathākramaṃ dharā pṛthivī vāyuś ca| anayoḥ parasparaṃ prajñopāyakāraṇam āha|

aṅguṣṭhetyādi| āṅguṣṭhaḥ pṛthivīsvarūpo'nāmikā vāyusvarūpā| etābhyāṃ parasparaṃ prajñopāyatvaṃ grāhyagrāhakabhāvena| tathā hi parakulāliṅganena kāryodayo na svakulāliṅganena svātmani kriyā virodhāt| pṛthivīdhātūdbhūte hi kāyendriyam| vāyudhātūdbhūtaṃ hi sparśyendriyaṃ viṣayaṃ gṛhṇāti| ata ucyate| aṅguṣṭhānāmikābhyām ityādi|

evaṃ savyavāmayor agnitoyayoḥ prajñopāyakāraṇam āha| savyetyādi| atrāpi vahnidhātujanitaṃ rasaviṣayam| toyodhātūdbhūtaṃ rasanendriyaṃ gṛhṇāti| ato madhyamātarjanīdvābhyāṃ khaḍgo bhaviṣyati|

daṃṣṭrā mudrā pakṣamudrā kṛtiḥ| kartarīti kartarikā mudrā kanīyasī| te parasparānye| śunyamaṇḍalasaṃyoga iti vāmadakṣiṇavāhināṃ daśamaṇḍalānāṃ saṃyoga ekatvaṃ madhyamā-

pravāhaḥ| tato'ṅgulīnāṃ pṛthivyādisvarūpiṇīnāṃ parasparam| karatale puṭite mūrdhni śirasi kṛta ekamukhaṃ vajraṃ bhavati| anenaitad upalakṣitam| madhyamāpravāha yogenācyutasukhena bodhicittoddhāriteṇa sā vajraśikhāyāṃ kartavyā| tad eva kartarikam| ajñānasya cchedanarūpatvāt|

skandhādi vijñānādayaḥ| dhātavaḥ pṛthivyādayaḥ| trivajrāṇi kāyavākcittāni| evam ekatvaṃ bhavati madhyamāgatau satyā| ariṣṭalakṣaṇam āha| vāmāyām ityādi| vāmāyāṃ dakṣiṇāyāṃ vā yathākrameṇādhiko vāyur ekarātram|

sattvakṣayato varṣam ekaṃ na bhavati| punar aparavarṣadaśadinaṃ bhavati rajaḥkṣayārtham| punar na vahati| punar aparavarṣapañcadaśadinaṃ bhavati tamaskṣayāntam| viṃśatidināroham āyurmāsāḥ ṣaṭ| pañcaviṃśatidināroham āyurmāsāḥ trayaḥ| atra

hi sūryaś candraguṇāñ śabdasparśarasarūpagandhān gṛhītvāriṣṭadināni darśayati| te pañca pañcakena pañcamī yāvad vṛddhiḥ| tataḥ ṣaṣṭhasaptamarāśāv ekottareṇa kramād vṛddhir iti| saptame rāśau pauṣṇakālaḥ| yatra prāṇasya nivṛttiḥ kaiścid api kartuṃ na śakyate| śukradhātāv ariṣṭavāyupraveśāt| tataḥ pauṣṇakālāt śukradhātukṣayārtham| aṣṭamapatrādiṣu krameṇa trayastriṃśaddinārohaḥ|

atra dvādaśarāśicakram| avidyādvādaśāṅgasvarūpaḥ puṭo bhūmyādau likhitvā prathamapuṭe pūrvādiṣu makarādijanmarāśiprabhṛtāv ariṣṭadināvaśeṣāyuṣo varṣamāsadinabhedena yathākramanyāsam āha| tridvītyādi| samakair varṣair māsaiḥ ṣaṭtriyugmendubhiḥ| dinais tithidikpañcaguṇadvyekaiś caivaṃ dehinām āyur gacchati| dvitīyapuṭaṃ coddeśamātreṇānugatatvād dinatyāga ucyate| pūrve janmalagnapatre trivarṣād aśītyuttarasahasradinagaṇād makarāt pañcatriṃśadadhikaśatadinagaṇaṃ tyajati| tatas tad apatraṃ śūnyīkṛtya dvitīyapatre'vaśeṣadinagaṇaṃ gṛhītvā prāṇaśaktiḥ praviśati| tatrāpy ārohadinadinaiḥ saha pañcacatvāriṃśadadhikatriśatadinaṃ tyajati| tato dvitīyapatraṃ śūnyīkṛtyāvaśeṣadinaṃ

gṛhītvā caturthe praviśati| tatrāpy ārohaṇadinaiḥ saha dvyaśītidinaṃ tyajati| tataḥ patraṃ śūnyīkṛtyāvaśeṣadinaṃ gṛhītvā pañcame praviśati| tatrāpy ārohaṇadinaiḥ saha saptapañcāśaddinaṃ tyajati| tataḥ ṣaṣṭhe'vaśeṣadinaṃ gṛhītvā praviśati| tatrāpy ārohaṇadinaiḥ sahāṣṭāviṃśaddinaṃ tyajati| tataḥ ṣaṣṭhaṃ śūnyīkṛtya saptame praviśati| tatrāpy ārohaṇadinaiḥ saha saptaviṃśaddinaṃ tyajati| saptamaṃ śūnyīkṛtyāvaśeṣaṃ ṣaḍviṃśatidinagaṇaṃ gṛhītvāṣṭame praviśati| tatra pañcadaśadinaṃ tyajati| aṣṭamaṃ śūnyīkṛtyāvaśeṣam ekaviṃśatidinaṃ gṛhītvā navame praviśati| tatra daśadinaṃ tyajati| avaśeṣam ekādaśadinaṃ gṛhītvā daśame praviśati navamaṃ śūnyīkṛtya| daśame pañcadinaṃ tyaktvāvaśeṣadinaṃ gṛhītvaikādaśame praviśati| tatra dinatrayaṃ tyajati| tata ekādaśamaṃ śūnyīkṛtyāvaśeṣadinatrayaṃ gṛhītvā dvādaśame praviśati| tatra dinatrayaṃ tyajati| avaśeṣaṃ dinam ekaṃ gṛhītvā karṇikāṃ praviśati| evam aśītyuttarasahasrasaṃkhyaiḥ

sarvasya madhyasya trivarṣadinaiḥ prāṇaśaktir dvādaśarāśicakraṃ tyajati| tato vijñānam api tyaktvā śvāsacakradharmapreritaprāṇavāyur nāsārandhragatyantare saṃbhramati|

vāmanāḍyām ariṣṭaṃ darśayati| mūlād ityādi| mūlād iti prāṇasya janmarāśidinād ekottareṇa candrasyārohaṇakrameṇa caturmāsapakṣabhedādinā| tatrāpi pūrvavad dvādaśacakraṃ likhitvā prathamapuṭe'riṣṭadinaṃ ṣaṭtriṃśadāyurmāsās tu dvitīyapuṭe sthāpanīyāḥ| tato māsam ekaṃ na vahati| ariṣṭavṛddhidvitīyamāsānte tṛtīyamāsapraveśe tasminn eva patre dinadvayaṃ vahati| tatas tṛtīyamāse na vahati| caturthamāsānte pañcamamāsapraveśe dinatrayaṃ vahati| evaṃ ṣaḍmāsair ariṣṭadināni trīṇi| sāmānyadinādau trīṇi ratnasavyavāmāriṣṭadharmiṇi| eva ṣaṭtriṃśadmāsebhyo'riṣṭadinasahitebhyo jīvitasya ṣaḍmāsā gatāḥ| tasmin patre prāṇavāyur asaṃcāraḥ| evam ahorātreṇaikādaśasaṃkrāntibhiḥ karoti| dvyayutadvāṣṭaśataśvāsaiḥ patraparityāge'pi śvāsacakrasyonatā nāsti|

madhyametyādi| mṛtyoḥ kālasya śatavarṣe pūrṇe madhyamārohaṇaṃ samaviṣamadinair vṛṣādimeṣādyair janmajātaiś ca maṇḍalaiḥ pṛthivyādikaiḥ| pakṣadvayavināśanād dakṣiṇavāmapakṣakṣayāt| anyathetyādi sugamam|

ariṣṭavañcanārtham āha| ariṣṭalakṣaṇam ityādi| prāṇaṃ prāṇavāyuṃ lalāṭe nyaset| avadhūtīpadaṃ madhyamāpravāhitvam|

uṣṇīṣe lalāṭe pūrṇā prathamānandādibhedena śukrapratipad dvitīyā tṛtīyā caturthī pañcamī lakṣaṇā| uddeśamātreṇānūktatvāt| kaṇṭhe hṛdaye ca ṣaṣṭhī saptamy aṣṭamī navamī daśamy aparā pūrṇā| nābhau guhya ekādaśī dvādaśī trayodaśī caturdaśī pañcadaśī tṛtīyā pūrṇā| athety ānandādibhedena tripūrṇā gate bodhicitte| guhyapadmā tayā bodhicitte guhye gate paramānandād yā ṣoḍaśī kalā sā maṇipadme vajramūrdhnigā bhavati|

tasmād ūrdhvaṃ kṛṣṇapratipadāgame virāgapraveśakāle cyutikālaḥ syāt| tato virāgato ravir ūrṇāsthānaṃ yāti|

asya sūryasya ṣoḍaśī kaloṣṇīṣakamale gatā saiva naṣṭacandra ity ākhyātaḥ| sūryeṇa rajorūpeṇācchāditatvāt| ato rāgasaukhyato viraktir bhavati| atas tad varjanīyam|

maraṇe maraṇakāle sarvadehināṃ devāsuramanuṣyāṇāṃ

candrāmṛtaṃ bodhicittam| adhaḥ śukramārgeṇa yāti| sūrya eva rajo rajodharmitvād ūrdhve yāti| rāhuvijñānam avidyāprāṇasavalitavijñānaṃ bhāvalakṣaṇe sukhaduḥkhādikarmalakṣaṇe|

yata evam ato'smāt kāraṇāc candrāmṛtasya śukradhātor ūrdhvam upari gamanam upadeśataḥ| adhaś cārkarajaso gamanaṃ rāhulakṣaṇasya vijñānasyākṣarasukhaṃ gamanaṃ kartavyam iti|

etac ca bhagavatācaritam ity ādarśayati| ūrṇetyādi| candrāmṛtasya śukradhātoḥ pūrṇimā pūrṇatvaṃ buddhānām ūrṇābje bhavati| arkarajaso'māvāsī guhye bhavati| tayoḥ pūrṇimāmāvāsyoḥ kalā yathākrameṇoṣṇīṣe vajramaṇau ca buddhānām iti|

vajrapadaṃ jñānapadaṃ viparītam iti pratiṣṭhitam ity arthaḥ| apratiṣṭhitaṃ punar edṛśam ity āha| apratiṣṭhetyādi| dhātavaḥ pṛthivyādayo'viparītam nirāvaraṇatvaṃ yānti| anye te dhātavo'bhedyāḥ|

śiraso lambikānāṃ kāyavākcittajñānabindūnām ūrdhve krameṇākṣarasukhapūritānāṃ catuṣkāyaviśuddhim āha| maṇāv ityādi| mahāsukhād iti vajrāgrād viparīteṇa yaḥ kāyabinduḥ sa turyākṣayataḥ śuddhakāyaḥ| sa ca vajrāgre sthitaḥ| tasmād maṇau cittaṃ suṣuptakṣayataḥ| guhye vāk svapnakṣayataḥ| nābhau kāyo jāgradavasthākṣayata iti| ete ca dharmasaṃbhoganirmāṇakāyāḥ śuddhakāyāt spharanti|

adha-upāyasyety adho vajrāgrād yat spharaṇaṃ kāyānāṃ tad upāyaś ca prajñāyāḥ punar ūrdhvato bhavet| tad darśayati| lalāṭa ityādi| asyāḥ prajñāyāḥ kāyavajro lalāṭe pūrvavad viparīteṇa| evaṃ kaṇṭhe hṛdnābhipaṅkaje yathākrameṇa vākcittajñānavajrāṇi| etena nirmāṇādyāḥ spharantīti|

akṣarasukhavṛddhyartham āha| karmetyādi| nanu candrasya sarvadā vṛddhyā bhavitavyam ity āha| na hi vṛddhiḥ syād iti| tathā hi yo vṛddhas tenāvaśyaṃ kṣayiṇā bhavitavyam anyathā nityatāprasaṅgaḥ| na ca nityo'rthaḥ kaścid asti yena tasya nityatvaṃ parikalpanīyam| utpādavyayadharmitvāt sarvadharmāṇām| tathāpy utpādavyaya eva tasya svabhāvo bhavatu|

ko doṣa ity āśaṅkyāha| svabhāvābhāvadharmāṇām iti svabhāvasyābhāvo yeṣāṃ dharmāṇāṃ yaḥ kṣayotpādaḥ sā māyā|

ata eva na kṣayaṃ yānti bhūtāni na jāyanta iti saṃyogaviyogamātratvāt|

spandādibhāvanām āha| svaprajñetyādi| svaprajñāyā vividhalakṣaṇayāliṅgitaṃ cittaṃ padme guhye gataṃ yad maṇau vajramaṇau tac candragataspandarūpeṇa spandabhāvanā| tatraiva maṇau yadā niṣpandatā tadākṣarabhāvanā|

kāyavākcittanāḍīṣu vāmadakṣiṇamadhyanāḍīṣu kāyavākcittair bhāvanā iti| yadā hi gurūpadeśena praviṣṭe marīcikādimārge tadā tisro nāḍyaḥ pariśuddhā bhavanti| tāsu pariśuddhāsu yadi kāyanāḍyāṃ prāṇo vahati tathāpi prāṇāyāmaḥ kartavyaḥ sa ca kāyabhāvanā| evaṃ vāgnāḍyāṃ vāgbhāvanā| cittanāḍyāṃ madhyamāyāṃ cittabhāvaneti| yadā śaṅkhinīnāḍyāṃ śukranāḍyāṃ jñānabhāvanākṣarabhāvanā bhavati tadā samāhāra ekatvaṃ trivajrāṇāṃ trināḍīnām|

caturbindūnāṃ bandhanam āha| prajñetyādi| prajñārāgadrutāṇām iti caṇḍālījvālena drutāṇām| śiraso lalāṭāt pūrṇāpadaṃ guhyasthānaṃ bandhanaṃ paramārthata iti prāṇabandhanenākṣarasukhena|

vāsanety āvaraṇaṃ tasyā haraṇam apanayanam| tat pūrṇa-

candrasya na cchedo na ca tasya pūraṇam|

tathoditaṃ jñānaṃ kramāt spandādibhedena bhūmibhir muditādyābhir ūrdhvam uṣṇīṣe pūrṇatāṃ yāti| kleśādīnām āharaṇam apanayanaṃ pūrṇaḥ| na jñānacchedo na ca tasya pūraṇam iti|

śaśāṅkasyāṅkaṃ śaśāṅkaṃ madhye śaśāṅkasya madhyaśaśāṅkaḥ| tena pūrṇāyāṃ na śaśī sthiraḥ pratipatpraveśakālakṣayatvāt| tathākṣare sukhe cittam asthiram| saṃsāravāsanā kṣarasukhalakṣaṇādyāliṅgitatvāt|

jagatāṃ rāgavirāgābhyāṃ pūrṇā na pratiṣṭhitety āha| utpattītyādi| ekakṣaṇābhisaṃbuddhaṃ yadā pūrṇāyāṃ guhyapadme niścalaṃ cittaṃ bhavet tadā taccittaṃ vajraṃ vajramaṇau niṣpandena sarvakṣaṇapūrakaṃ dvyayutadvyaṣṭaśataśvāsalakṣaṇam|

evam asya cittasya na śuklapakṣe rāge sthitiḥ| na ca gamanam asite pakṣe virāge| ate eva pakṣadvayamadhyasthaṃ pūrṇāyāṃ gatam advayam apratiṣṭhitam|

ekakṣaṇābhisaṃbuddhaḥ sarvakṣaṇavibhāvakaḥ|
akalaḥ kalanātītaś caturthadhyānakoṭidhṛk|| iti|

sāṃsārikakramam āha| uṣṇīṣetyādi| tasya bodhisattvasyoṣṇīṣād udayaṃ pūrṇā vajramaṇau bhavet| sa virāgāt kalāhāniḥ kalāya cayo vajrāt sakāśād bhavati| tato hānir virāgasya prapūrṇatā|

punar apy evam udayaḥ punar maṇau pūrṇatā| sa virāgāt kalāhānir na dehināṃ jñānahānir iti| jñānahānyā maraṇam āha|

pūrṇāśabdasyārtham āha| asya bodhicittasya mahāsukhasvabhāvaḥ sa pūrṇāśabdena bhaṇyate| mahāsukhasvabhāvaṃ vihāyānyabhāvāntaraṃ viṣayendriyalakṣaṇaṃ sṛṣṭisaṃhārakārakam utpādavyayalakṣaṇam|

etad eva spaṣṭayati| bhāvād ityādi| svapakṣābhyāṃ śuklakṛṣṇābhyām ayanābhyām uttaradakṣiṇābhyām|

asya bodhicittasya niścalasya pūrṇāyāṃ guhyapadma ūrdhvam bhūmibhiḥ paripūrṇatā| dvyayutetyādi vyākhyātārtham| pakṣadvayaṃ vāmadakṣiṇaṃ meṣavṛṣādidvādaśarāśilakṣaṇam ākramya nirudhya dvādaśākārasatyārthaṃ dvādaśabhūmilābhataḥ| ṣoḍaśākāram akṣaraṃ sāṃsārikaṣoḍaśakalākṣayataḥ|

paramādvayaṃ karmavātanirmitakalpanābhāvāt| ekārtham advayam iti yad advayadharmaṃ tad ekārtham ubhayapa-

kṣābhāvāt| virāgādimahārāgam iti sekakṣaṇaś caturthaḥ| tad uktaṃ nāmasaṃgītyām|

virāgādimahārāgo viśvavarṇo jvalaprabhaḥ|
saṃbuddhavajraparyaṅko buddhasaṃgītidharmadhṛk|| iti|

asaṃkliṣṭam anāvilam ubhayapakṣābhāvāt| grāhyacittagrāhakacittayor aikyaṃ darśayati| yathety upadarśane| nadīnām udakaṃ praviṣṭaṃ tat samudre samatvaṃ yāti| tathāyaṃ bhāvasamūhaḥ sthiracalātmako'kṣare sarvākārabimbe samas tulyo'kṣaro bhavati|

etad eva punar dṛṣṭāntenāha| ayaṃ dhātusamūho lohādiko raseṇa pāradeṇa bhakṣito yathā rasatvaṃ yāti tat samo bhavati| yathā vā bījaiḥ kādravādikaiḥ kṣityādiko dhātusamūho bhakṣito bījasvabhāvatvaṃ yāti| sa eva phalakāle phalodayakāle mānavarjitaḥ saṃkhyārahito bhavati|

evaṃ bhāvasamūho'pi sthiracalātmakaḥ paramākṣarabhakṣitaḥ sarvākārabimbena nirāvaraṇīkṛtaḥ paramākṣaratvam āyāti| sarvākārasvarūpadhṛg bhavatīty arthaḥ|

viṣadṛṣṭānte sukhasya vyāpitvam āha| na daṃśa ityādi| pūrṇāvasthāṃ vyāpitvaṃ gate viṣe daṣṭako daṃśasthāne vedanāduḥkhaṃ na vetti| na cānyatrāpi kutracit kāyasthāne vetti| na ca viṣayān rūpādīn indriyadvāraiś cakṣurādibhir vetti|

evaṃ citte pūrṇakalāṃ gate vyāpitvaṃ gate na yogī vajramaṇau vetti satsukhaṃ nānyatrāpi na viṣayān indriyadvārair iti|

yathā śilā mahāmaṇisparśāt taptatāṃ prabhāsvaratāṃ yāti tathākṣarasukhasparśāt sukhatām eti yāti vai niścitam|

kiṃ punaḥ paramārthataḥ paramārthasatyato jñānasadbhāvaḥ prabhāvo vitarkaḥ| kiṃ tarkaṇīyaś cittasyāvedhanaṃ prati malāgantukaliptasya naivety arthaḥ|

ayam āgantuko malo na citte| atha citta utpanne sati paścād utpannas tadartham āha| na cittāt sakāśāc cirakālikaḥ paścād utpanna ity arthaḥ| atha cittaṃ vinā jātas tadartham āha| na cittena vinā jāta iti| kiṃ citte'vyayatvena saṃsthita ity āha| na citte saṃsthito'vyaya iti|

yadītyādinaitad eva vicārayati| sugamaṃ ślokadvayam| atra tāmradṛṣṭānte bodhayati| yady ayam āgantuko malas tāmre tadā pūrvaṃ tāmraṃ kālikārahitam| yadā cirakālī malaḥ paścāt tāmrasya sadbhāvas tadā tasya malasya kutaḥ kasmāt saṃbhavaḥ|

atha tāmreṇa vinā jātas tadākāśakusumasyāpi saṃ-

bhavaḥ| atha tāmre'vyayatvena saṃsthitas tadā siddharaseṇāpy apanetuṃ na śakyate| tasmāt sarvam etad yuktyā na saṃgacchati|

tasmād idam atrārthasatyam| tāmreṇa sahotpanno'py ayaṃ kāliko rasayogād naśyati na paścād na pūrvaṃ na tadrahita iti|

evaṃ cittasyāpi darśayati| tadvad ityādi| āgantukaśabdaḥ kathaṃ boddhavya iti ced ucyate| ā samantād gamanaśīla āgantukaḥ|

vākpathātītatvam akṣarasyāha| vaktuṃ netyādi| yauvane surate prāptā svayam eva vetti| samādhirahitaiḥ śūnyatāsamādhirahitaiḥ| asukhād dhetoḥ|

cyutir eva saṃsārahetur iti pratipādayati| cyutair ityādi| evam ity uktakrameṇa sattvānāṃ virāgasaṃbhūtiḥ| nānyathetyādi| yadi teṣāṃ virāgasaṃbhūtir na bhavati tadā nānyaprakāreṇa

teṣāṃ bhavaḥ saṃsāraḥ|

tasmāt saiva kāraṇam ity arthaḥ| yeneti cyutisukhavivarjaneṇa| kāmuka ityādinākṣarasukhe yatnam āha| duḥkhaṃ rāgavirāgalakṣaṇam| ādhāre cyutim āpanna ādheyasya virāgatā bhavati| ataś cyutirāgaṃ vivarjayed ity uktena saṃbandhaḥ|

vaimalyasyāvasthām āha| akṣaretyādi| akṣarodbhavakāyasya cittasyorṇācakramadhyagatasyālikālyor vāmadakṣiṇayoḥ samāyogo mīlanaṃ madhyamāpravāhitvaṃ hūṃkārādyaṃ ca madhyamāpravāhanibandhanaṃ neṣyate| etac ca paramākṣarajñānasiddhāv evāryapuṇḍarīkapādaiḥ prapāñcitam iti na vistāryate|

idānīṃ pratītyahetuphalaṃ bhāvam āha| bimbam ityādi| śūnyād ākāśād udbhavaṃ bimbaṃ sarvākā....
